I. these are the guidelines for you to live by on this site, because i can assure you that they will be for the better. so please, i ask that you follow them. it's not too difficult, really.
II. respect is, probably, the most important rule here. you must respect, not only the admins, but the members, as well. we make the site what it is.
III. no fighting whatsoever. anyone who starts, joins, participates in a fight will be punished as seen fit. i'm sorry, but it doesn't matter who started it, just who was in it and that it was done, because in the end everyone was hurt and it's your own fault.
IV. when you register, your log in name can be whatever you please, but your display name must be your character's first and last name and it must be legible.
V. remaining active isn't hard, but apparently, people seem to think it is so i give you this rule: one in character post a week (can be an aim thread, but it must be in character, games do not count) or risk deletion with no warning.
VI. sex, drugs, and violence all happen in real life, therefore it happens here.
VII. if your characters going to have sex, make sure that you fade to black. we don't want to read about it, really.
VII. powerplaying, godmodding, mary sues/gary stus are strictly prohibited. be original and versatile when creating characters.
IX. no rp-cliques whatsoever. really, if you won't rp with someone because they're character isn't perfect or like yours, you don't belong here.
X. all posts must be SIX HUNDRED (600) WORDS PLUS. if you absolutely have to because you have no muse, you can make a post under this, but don't do it frequently. also, if you have no muse right then and there, don't reply just yet! tell the person you'll post soon.
XI. do not pester people about posting. if they haven't replied within a week, it's okay to ask them when they plan on posting, but do not ask every five seconds. it's quite annoying.
XII. you are allowed as many characters as you feel you can handle. if one becomes inactive, you will be asked to delete it, or put it on hiatus.
XIII. signatures cannot be wider than 600 pixels in width and 300 pixels in height.
XIV. do not use stolen work OR copyrighted material. it could get us into trouble.
XV. make sure your image isn't copyrighted before posting it in your sig! i could be sued over this, and we don't want that to happen.
XVI. two characters cannot have the same name. last name is okay, but please, no first names. it makes it very confusing for everyone, even if it's unrealistic, and it's rude.
XVII. you cannot name your character the same as it's pb. it's quite tacky.
XVIII. don't use thirty year old celebrities to play a sixteen year old! really, it makes you look like an idiot.
XIX. please keep images on the site appropriate. i don't want to see nudity in any of the sigs. underwear&bathing suits are fine, but nudity=no.
XX. in the "other" part of the application, put "blackout".
